I saw this today at the Galleria Mall in Dallas, TX. Very nice set up.

It a dual swing out bumper on the back I believe. Jerry cans and spare with High lift. I guess it would have been better had it been somewhere else than at the mall. :xxrotflma

Hey, come on now! That's not funny... You do need the snorkle in the garage in case there's not enough oxygen at chest-height, and the tires appeared to be picked for the excursion in mind - you have to clear the height bar at the garage entrance, you know... Oh, and maybe the jerry cans are INSIDE the vehicle as they wouldn't clear the height bar.

So, actually, the truck (if you can call it that) was set up just for that; mall crawling. I assume that there's a tarp in the vehicle so that if the thing gets too full with merchandise, you can just toss the heavier stuff like BBQ grills, tool sets, and shop equipment on the top rack (since it won't fly away) and put your $1,000 suits, $500 shoes, and $300 worth of books on topics you know nothing about (careful to make sure you don't get asked questions in your home about these books) in the cargo area.

I assume the winch is for pulling cars to make available a parking spot when there isn't one next to your favorite, "fanfare" entrance into the jungle of wasted resources.

As for the stickers, I dunno... It's kinda the same thing people do when putting on Rockford Fosgate or Zapco amp stickers - exactly the kind of advertising that says, "Beat me, Bite me, * me, but DON'T you dare walk by without stealing this vehicle. Please. I built this vehicle just so you could steal it. It would make me feel proud to call the insurance company and announce its theft." (what? What was THAT? Limp hand touching the opposite shoulder twice)

Ouch!! :Wow1:

Maybe ..... um ...... he just needed to go to the mall???
Is that not allowed if you own a LC?
Note to self, NEVER take the LC to the mall unless ridicule and sarcasm is pending on the horizon, always take the sedan

One of the following just occurred:

1 - Congratulations to you for judging a vehicle and owner by a single picture. You just won the most ignorant post of the day award.

2 - My sarcasm meter is very broken.

Tell me which one it is. Already enough assumptions in this very short thread.

Yes, the irony doesn't escape me but why the rush to judgement? 200 series Land Cruisers are extremely capable vehicles and that one appears to be kitted out very nicely, ready for the trails; there just aren't a lot of them out there on the road yet. Internationally, they are being used in rugged environments, and with the addition of some ballistic protection, some very dangerous places.

Some of you might have seen forum member 'sbly' and his wife's 200 at Amado this year. I can attest they aren't afraid to take it on the trails...

Humm..lets see... a snorkel.... spray painted factory rims, a winch they probably won't use and a roof rack they really don't need... yeah.. looks like 1/2 of the trucks on this website :ylsmoke:. The only difference it is actually getting used rather than up on jack stands getting the latest expo farkle installed. :snorkel:

I agree. If I could afford it, that's what I would have bought. I just thought, wow, a LC with everything on it right here in Dallas. It was just something you don't see everyday. But, I guess everyone is a critic these days. Safe Travels.
