Wasatch Cruisers on "The Snakes"

So, majority only ran one of the snake trails (Rattlesnake) out in the 5 Mile Pass Area this last Saturday. I headed down with 'Paul R' in his Taco to join up with the cruiser club for some wheeling followed with a BBQ.

We all met a mile or so down the Highway from the main meeting area for the trails. As the group would reach about 10-12 rigs, a leader and tailgunner were established, and headed out for the trail. About 15 minutes later the next group would head out in the same fashion, and then a third. All keeping in contact via HAM radios, and some CB's.

The trail was great, nothing terribly difficult, but fun nonetheless. The most fun was jsut getting to know people. Afterwards there was a BBQ with loads of food.

I had a blast, meeting a bunch of new faces some are on here i'm sure. Good times, good times.. on with some pictures..

I ran that trail a number of times but never found where rattlesnake was at.
That was the first trail I took my 4runner on.

One of my favorite photo's from that area:

I'm really glad to see it's still being used. And yes, that looks like a great collection of rigs there. I've got get up there and wheel with you guys.

Are those fresh water lines under the driver's side headlight?

So has Gary seen what I've done to his LC?

It turned out to be a nice day. I took my 4 runner out this time and let my daughter drive the trail. She had fun as you can see by the smiles in the pictures.

And where you been Moody?

That is awesome you get Hannah out (that's her name, right?) and let her wheel. I can only hope to do the same with my kids as they grow...

Where have I been? I have been working on some projects... I wish I had known about this run...
