Water separator for onboard air system?

We have an ARB twin compressor (that's not working correctly) and i've noticed that the air coming out of the chuck has much moisture in it.
There's currently no air tank, just the compressor going to chucks on each side between the cab & cabin.

Is there any reason to not install a water separator to remove some of that moisture?

thanks,
Faron

A water separator will help. Adding a dessicant type air dryer will help a whole lot more.
Due to space limitations, that can be challenge to do on a vehicle.
Meaning a distance of tubing and reservoir,, Best results is if your compressed air is given as much time as you can to cool off before going thru the separator & dryer.
That helps moisture condense out be better trapped by the driers.
