If you don't venture over to IH8MUD very often I thought I would post up some pictures of the mats that just arrived.
These are their Digifit series that are custom molded to the floor.
For reasons we aren't sure of yet, they just made these mats available for our 17+ year old trucks!
I would like to think it was all the emails we have sent the company :Wow1:

Just to be clear, if you ordered WeatherTech mats for your 80 series 2 years ago they were NOT the DigiFit mats. These have just been released (about 3 weeks ago now) and should fit MUCH better than any earlier product. The one item that appears to be missing/mis-aligned is the clip holder for the mats. They were designed for a separate clip not the factory clip that comes in some 80 series (95 and later? I don't have them in my 93), they have a user installed clip with them to install.

It sounds like it might be corrected, but TBD. Check the Mud thread for more info.

I don't know how these things will be for the Yota, but on my Rover they're a mixed bag. The driver's side is excellent - perfect fit and never moves. The rear is OK - decent fit but gets caught on the passenger side door a bit and folded over. Not a problem as we never use the back seats anyway. The passenger front is a mess. Doesn't fit worth a darn and slides all over the place. I tried a few different approaches to get it to stay put but no-go. I could possibly stick it down with some VHB tape, but then it won't come out for clean-up.

So as they say, Cavet Emptor

On my 100, they've been amazing. I took them out recently for the first time in a year and the carpet is perfect underneath. Keep in mind that's with loads of ski trips, camping trips, off road trips, etc. often with 4 or more people at the same time. They were pricey, but very well worth it in my experience.

Ordered a set for the front. I must admit I am a little dissapointed with fitment and the fact the front mats dont fully reach over the door sill in order to drain water properly. Fitment was more snug on my 98' 4Runner set and the set in my Subaru. However, they are still the best mats available for the 80 IMO and are a welcomed addition.

For anyone who has these in a tan interior, did you buy black or tan mats? Any pics other than the OPs?

Does anyone have pics of WeatherTech's cargo mat in their 80?

Thanks.

Rear Cargo Digifit for 80

Here is the rear cargo mat for the 80.
There is a 2" lip on the front side (where the tailgate is) but this picture was right when I unrolled it out of the box, so the lip was smashed down and hadn't been bent back up.
I like the fit and finish.
