What Are Radio Operators Using In Mexico, Central and South America?

I can only speak for my neck of the woods. As far as HAM usage concerns: Venezuela has decent 2M coverage. Very little 70cm coverage and HAMs regularly use 20m and 40m SSB. The 6M band has some local users but not very much really. I find it hard to believe those bands are relevant for vehicle travel anyway.
