What gives with the FWC folk... (I am part of the FWC folk)

I'm in CA and drivers of just about every TC (except maybe the triple slide driven by that older couple taking time off from their class A) seem to wave. Maybe not on the highway, but anywhere slower. (Special wave to the Lance TC family who hunted us down in Zion to tell us our water heater was on fire.

I've only ever passed one other XP Camper "in the wild", not at an actual event. We both sort of freaked out and waved. Had we not been headed in opposite directions on Hwy 190 in/out of Death Valley, I'm sure we would have stopped to chat.
Perhaps they are busy you know.... looking at the road and driving ?
Then again I never understood the wave. It seems that " jeepers" have it the worst.

Exactly. I am guessing it is all about your level of stoke as well as your disposable time. Honestly, a wave costs you nothing and expresses a lot of value to another human, I can't really understand why someone would get off on not shooting a howdy to a kindred spirit.
It seems that, here in Washington at least, if you have a 4 wheel drive and a pop-up camper, most of the similar rigs wave, even other brands. FWC, Northstar, Hallmark, they all wave at me in my Phoenix. I have only seen one other Phoenix on the road and he stopped to take a look inside of mine in the Safeway parking lot.
