Thanks for the support guys. I didn't buy it til late last night so I told them to keep it til monday and prep it and I'd keep the Jeep for the weekend and clean it out and remove a few accessories. So no pics yet! I also hate pavement pictures, so I might have to wait to get it out on at least a dirt road. :truck:

My first mistake was letting them do a trade appraisal on the Jeep while I went for a test drive.... I was very surprised at the offer they made, which I had expected to put a halt to the "numbers" game. This is my first new vehicle so it was a bit nerve racking.

As for mods, I'm going to keep the suspension stock I think til the tires wear out, or I get bored, whichever comes first. I don't know whether I want a shell or not, leaning towards a bed tool box and a roof tent that I can easily remove. I'm thinking about a hidden hitch receiver in the front with a winch on a cradle rather than the arb bumper, but that's subject to change as well. Basically first up will be comms and a storage/sleeping solution. Then maybe some armor and I'll play it by ear. :camping:


I'll start a real mod thread when I pick the truck up. It's a silver extended cab with the TRD package. As for not being white, I just figured I'd go for something different. Also figured it'd hide dirt/scratches pretty well, and, well, it just looked good.

Put 150 miles on the truck so far local driving to break it in. Overall I'm very impressed with the truck and liking it more and more every day.
