Okay not too long ago I lifted my wife’s 4ruuner.. I went ahead and did the the 3” lift from ome. We are digging the new ride. However the tires look kinda small. I got the 285/70/17 coopers at3’s no rubbing that I am aware of.. when I purchased these I was a bit concern about rubbing, but to my surprise there was none at all.. The tires look small atleast I think. They are on stock sr5 wheels and I currently ordered 2 sets of 1.25 Spidertrax spacers. I’m hoping this will mitigate the small tire look on my 4Runner.. what do guys think?07E635BA-C9BA-4AF9-81D9-824D3F6EFAA8.jpeg

Weird that they look small. ToyTec 3” on my wife’s 2015 with 285/70-17 wild peaks and they don’t look small on hers. Illusion due to black on black, maybe?

It's the black on black. Trust me. Adding spacers are going to move them out in the wheel wells. Which may cause rubbing.

I run the same rims, and tire sizes on my 2001 4Runner, and 2004 Tacoma. The tires on the 4runner, look "ok". Yet look HUGE on the Tacoma. The Tacoma is white, 4Runner is black. For me, It's the contrast.

I went with OME medium duty coils on my 5th gen. I’m running 255/80R17 COOPER STT Maxx’s (~33”) and they still look small in the rear wheel wells . Some rubbing in reverse with the front wheels cranked over.
