Which side do you mount your awning on?

This may seem like a stupid question but I'm wondering which side people typically mount their awning on. I've got a roof top tent that I'll be putting back on my rhino rack now that the weather is starting to be better and I've been looking at picking up a batwing. I was thinking about mounting it on the passenger side which would mean having the tent fold out onto the driver's side. Just want to make sure I'm not missing something I should be thinking about.

I’ve done it both ways.

If I have awning on passenger side, it is more convenient should I be parked along a road and want to deploy. My old awning room had a door only on one side, so consider that if you have a room, and how you want that set and where the door should be.

With the RTT, I set opposite of awning.
