Which Suspension setup works best, 2002 4Runner

Expo,

My suspension is nearing a lot of miles and will need to be refreshed this year. The current setup is Bilstein 5150's and Tundra Coils with 1/2" spacer in the front, and LC coils and crap Procomp 9000 shocks in the rear. Keep in mind I just refreshed my front end with new LBJ, Light racing UCA's, and LCA bushings. A new rack am outer tie rods are I the works.

I'm contemplating something fancy up front for the ride quality, Icon Extended to make the most of my aftermarket UCA's, or Fox, or similar, the rear is a different story, I'm guessing a medium duty spring like OME or Toy Tecs new spring. Shock wise I'm really just unsure, OME may be good, don't see the point in matching the fronts........

Thoughts please ?

I like the OME if you are on a budget.

I am running 8-way adjustable Fox coilovers now, had the OME first. Ran Fox on my LandRover too. Worth the $ if you want to spend it.

Also depends on what you're using it for. Fox, Radflo, Icon, Toytec, OME, Sonoran Steel. I'm currently running OME with a mix of Sonoran Steel parts. I'm going to upgrade to Radflo soon. I do a lot of open desert driving and the OME isn't cutting it. I'm going with Radflo over the others because it's local.

on all of my 4runners (97,98,99,00) i had sway a ways up front, both the 2.0 & 2.5", and either the ome 891's or the LC coils in the rear with the bilstien 5100's. I have logged a lot of miles on these set ups on hwy, baja, snow, you name it and ill always stay with the adjustable coilovers up front. I have never had to rebuild the sway a ways, and they have been used greatly. I think the 2.5" ones are a little better for soaking up bumps due to the bigger body on them, but they all have the same 13"/650# coils on them. You just dont get that rebound jiggle/wobble with the sway a ways like you do with a standard coil/shock. As for the rear, all depends on weight. If you regularly are weighted down, then the ome 891's work great, but are pretty stiff on an unloaded 4runner but willl not bottom out even when fully loaded. But the other side is the LC coils, which are great for normal everyday driving, but when fully loaded can bottom out and bounce, although if you get a set of airbags to put inside them and keep it at 15-20lbs of air, then you pretty much have the best of both worlds.
