Who makes the locks on this drawer?

And does it have to be locked/unlocked in order for the stopper piece to move. I ask because for my drawer set up, the drawers would slide out if not stopped by anything. But I don't want to have to lock/unlock it every single time I open them.

I don't have a clue who makes that particular lock, but it appears to be a lock for a sliding patio door. They are available with or without key locking.
