That is just cruel!

"Hey folks check out this insanely cool rig that we don't sell!"

Awesome!

I can think of better reasons they should import them though ;)

That is some wicked weather station equipment on the front there. :sunny:

That's the new Hi-Lift recovery device, I hear it's going to debut at SEMA.

Graham,
I know I'd be taking a huge loss on this but I'd be willing to trade my Sequoia for your 110.
I know, I know...yeah, I'm a really generous guy...
You can thank me later...

Ed, that's very generous, but I'd hate to cheat you. It is really a 1968 Series III 109, so not a Defender as advertised. You'd take a huge loss!!

In keeping with the Warn winch/compressor, this is the new Hi-Lift jackoff. Keeps you elevated no matter the circumstances. Easy to mount and works in any situation!

Okay, maybe that was too much beer at the local watering hole!!!!

cheers! :smilies27

It's remotely possible that LR could have incorporated air bag SRS in the revised Defender, which would enable them to import it here with existing V8 engines, or possibly even the TD5 if it could pass emission regulations with the low-sulphur fuel the U.S. will be getting soon.

Yeah, I know: Pipe dream is the term you're looking for . . .

Yeah, same here. I could think of great reasons for the Hi-Lux or any number of Toyota products, or heck, even that toughed up F-350 sold everywhere but here.

I better stop before I get too :ar15:

That is a super sweet rig, though. No doubt! :D

... good thing that I had already swallowed that last gulp of coffee or it would be all over my screen right now. :xxrotflma

They should be able to import a 110 hi-cap without issue. It can be spec'ed at over 1.25 ton, which exempts the chassis from most safety and emissions reg's

are you talking about the xtreme jack?

Actually I was talking about the balloon tied to his front bumper!
I Think Graham took it to a whole other level (or maybe down to a new low!)

Yeah, sorry about that! Spent too much time at the Southern Sun! :friday:

But I do have a hi-lift extreme on the truck. The hi-lift we used in Africa got worked pretty hard. I got the extreme more for the color than anything. (Yes, I know that's not a good reason, but my truck is vain!!) :yikes:

cheers
