Why would anyone need a ccp for anything other than self protection?

If that is a real question, I will point out that many CCW holders who have had to actually draw their weapon, have done so in defense of others, not necessarily themselves. Its the whole, "How do you stop a bad guy with a gun, with a good guy with a gun" scenario.

Of course you still have the crazy quilt state and local laws about hollow point bullets and magazine capacity …most of which can win you a felony charge.
