winter is here so how cold is it?

I woke up this morning to -36*C with a wind chill of -46*C...(roughly the same in Ferinheight). Needless to say my Pathfinder didn't start, I guess 600CCA is just not enough.
so I bought a NOCO GB30 Jump starter. Anybody have any experience with this product?
I'll do a sit rep in the morning if it works.

... seconded!

Downright balmy, this morning ... at least by comparison ... at ~30*F. Sure beats last week when we had single digits for a couple of days, and down into the negative teens overnight for a few nights ... not including wind chill. I know you folks in the northern climes will scoff at me thinking that's so cold, BUT ... I'm not that far from Denver, and we tend to be a fair bit milder than even a few miles away (and a few thousand feed up in elevation) ... I had a buddy up in Evergreen (~20 minutes up I-70 into the foothills, and 2k feet above me) report that his porch thermometer read -38*F on one of the colder days last week, so we do occasionally get those temps down here, too!!

You should see the reactions of friends from places like Phoenix, California and the southwest; when I talk about even that kind of cold ... they tend to go looking for the winter gear at 40-50*F ... ; -)

Low 50's in coastal Southern CA. Very cold for us. I've had the heat pumping for a few days now. I miss summer.

It was -12* F on New Years morning in the mountains of Cascade, Idaho. It's been low teens in Boise this last weekend but is warming up to mid 20's now for daytime temps.

Hey, you shush. :D

We're getting steady temps at 3ish degrees here in Montana, but we've been getting snow non stop the past few days. We've accumulated well over a foot in the last 72 hours. My parents, who live up north in the mountains, have gotten around four feet in the same time.

Sheesh. I went to NAU so lived in the mountains for a few years. No Bueno.

I prefer the weather we have today. Sunny and 70.

Stay warm, fellas.

naw, I've never been a fan of fishing, mostly 'cause I don't like to eat them. and catching them just to throw them back seems to be a waste. I'd rather just float around in the boat and have a beer.

We're in a cold snap of roughly 15°F temps here, but prior to this it's been pretty mellow with temps in the 40°F range.
