Wiring problem

Does anybody know what these wires are on my 2000 Montero.

Looks like the stereo wiring. Could be wrong though.

i will take one today.i thought stereo wiring to but none of the wires in the cable match what the diagrams say. is it possibly for heat/ac thats the only thing not working. i cant even tell if the two cables with the most wires should be joined together and was cut by mistake. the wires are behind where the stereo goes. there is another bundle of wires which i know goes to the stereo i will take several more pics..
