I recently pulled all the siding off our Skamper 080S and found that there were a few places with some soft wood. Most everything is in the front and back corners on one side. I have started replacing the water damaged wood, but in doing so, I found that some of the 1/8" paneling on the inside was also a bit weak.
I'm assuming the paneling was not just for looks, but also to add a sort of membrane strength to the framing. Am I okay replacing the damaged wood framing, then going back and replacing sections of paneling, or does the paneling need to be installed in large sections and sandwiched in the corners as it was originally?
