Wife*and I have been kinda sorta shopping for a slide in truck camper*since bought my truck last year. But as usual life usually gets in the*way. And any found were either to far away to just go look at or way*to much for our pocket*books. Thursday I happened to see a little*one for sale and figured I would at least stop and look. Its in pretty*good shape for a 1997. Needs some roof repair and a few hrs*scrubbing the inside and out down. The lady was asking $1800 for it but got her down to $1300 because I told her I'm gonna*have to take the whole roof off to repair it. Still have to get the*tie*down bars and turn buckles made*for it. But I*need my buddy to do the welding. And now pictures.

Real nice. You're gonna love the little wing doors. I store my shovel, rake, broom, axe, snatchem strap etc down those sides.
The interior low doors give access to the front spaces for firewood.

My wife wants me to make little screens for those doors for fresh air as well. We're both excited to use it as much as possible.

You'll have bookoo fresh air with that camper. Take her on a test run and see if she's fresh air deprived.

I need to replace the water lines to the sink as they're all moldy inside. What would be the best kind to use? I'm not sure if the clear vynle I can get at Lowe's would be good enough. Also what would be the best way to clean the water tank?

Looks great, we just picked up a similar camper this year, 7 nights so far and planning for lots more. Is that for a mini or full size?
As far as the water lines go, make sure they are safe for drinking water, not all hoses are. For the tanks, try a cap of bleach/1 gallon of water.
Enjoy

It fits in my 8ft bed and I can just shut the tailgate.

I kinda forgot about updating this so here's a couple things.

Got my trailer plug made finally. The one that can with the truck was starting to rot and crack. So I took a 25ft 12awg extension cord and cut the ends off to use as wire. The jacket on this cord is super soft and flexible so it was easy to bend/ twist where I wanted it.

Have wireloom clamps holding it the whole length under the drivers side.

Also the crank for the top was starting to pull the lag screws out, so I drill all the way through to the outside and ran carriage bolts with lock nuts on. Now it will have to pull through a lot of material.

Plus a couple shots from vacation last week.
