WTB - 4-6 lift kit or components for 4wd suburban.

May consider leveling kit/shocks/etc.

Getting ready to purchase a 2003+ suburban so looking for suspension parts to start my build.

PM me and let me know what you have. :victory:

Thanks!!

Its just my opinion but I would go get some ford leveling keys some Z71 coil springs with about 2" spacers for the rear. You can go 3 full inches of lift in the front without stressing anything. Get some bilstein 5100's shocks all the way around and throw on a set of 285/75 r16's (if you have 16 inch wheels). You will be able to handle a LOT with this setup and its cheap. If money is not an option get a 6" lift throw on some 35's but then you should change your gearing. $$$$$$$ on that setup. Like I said, just my opinion.

Thanks for the input! I may go that route...I've been looking at the Cognito leveling kits. Don't think I want to spend $$$ on gearing initially. Maybe down the rd?

I'm trying to find a 2500 4x4. Would I run into gearing issues if I ran 35's on the 3/4 suburban?

What are you planning on doing with the suburban? If it's your daily driver and you plan on doing the occasional off roading adventure with it stick with 33's and a 2000+ burb. If you get a 3/4 ton with 4:10 gears you can safely run 35's. I ran 35's with my 1/2 ton yukon and it was just a bad idea. I run 33's on my 1/2 ton burb and they are a perfect fit.

All that being said if you are wanting a more capable off road burb go buy a 91' 3/4 ton burb. This vehicle will be much more capable off road and will easily handle big lift/ big tires. They are very cheap and easy to work on also. Just my 2 cents again.

If you have a choice and are planning on running bigger gear, always go with a 3/4 ton.
