WTB: 4 door Mitsubishi Montero (northern east coast)

It is probably a long shot but I am looking for a 4 door Mitsubishi Montero. Close to stock preferred. First or second gen, auto or manual, 4 or 6 cylinders. I am flexible because I am looking for a fun car without any particular long term plan in mind. I am in NJ but willing to travel reasonable distance for a right car. Budget is flexible but definitely not looking for a $20K rig.

Considering the amount of overspray all around the car, most likely the "new paint" is not there to make the car look nicer but to hide things. I have browsed thru Craigslist and Facebook and have seen few cars but couldn't find what I am looking for yet. That's why I am trying here.

I have a 96 sr in Baltimore. I purchased a year ago for my gf for us to go on trips, but it has just collected dust. Previous owner did seals and belt. It needs a new battery and tires. Only other mechanical issue is a misfire on cylinder 3. Not looking to make any money off it, just want someone to use it. I think it has about 177k miles

The only requirement that's changed is that I need 4 door. I have checked out 2 door Raider and was just too small for the gear I want to haul.

I have a 97 SR winter package (factory rear locker) all maintenance done including timing belt and head gasket/ water pump within past 5k miles. New Bilsteins and Rhino Rack pioneer. Just took it to Colorado and back no problems. No rust. All maintenance records since new (even window sticker). Located in Atlanta.

You should seriously consider obtaining one from out of the rust belt.
