I'm located on the east coast. Charleston, SC to be more specific. Looking for an Eezi-awn preferably t-top 1600. I can't justify paying 2900 plus shipping so looking for a used one. Also interested if any sales pop up. Feel free to pm me. Thanks!:coffee:

I'm glad that you are interested in our Eezi-Awn 1600 T-Top! As you know it is a very good tent and I myself spend approx. 100+ nights a year in this exact model. I just sold my demo 1600 T-Top last week because we are out of stock on new ones. It has been one of our most popular tents the last year and we have a lot of them arriving in our container mid-April. If I can be of any assistance please let me know. Also, I will keep my eyes open for one on the used market. Just an FYI, our tent comes with everything included for one price. The tent ships with a floor, walled extra room with double doors and a 300 weight mattress. If by chance you would consider a 1400 T-Top let me know and we will see what we can do for you. A lot of my friends run this model and love the size???

P.S. Hope to see you at the Asheville, NC "Overland Rally." We (Equipt) are the presenting sponsor and will be there in full force with lots to share.....

Thanks for the response. I don't think the 1400 would be big enough. Sometimes it will be just myself and 3 year old but other times my wife will be coming as well. I've sustained injuries from the military so I'm retired so to speak. I have lots of time on my hands so the off road, expedition world is very new to me but also something I'm very eager to get in to. I'll try to find the info for the Asheville rally, is it new'b friendly? Thanks again for your response and feedback. Much appreciated.

Still looking. The other guy had a series 3 for sale.

I by no means am trying to talk you out of the Eezi-Awn 1600 T-Top RTT, but......... there are options. If the Series 3 1600 that the poster has for sale is a good deal for you there is another option to have the room you want. I myself am now running the Series 3 1600 on my Land Cruiser and am liking the quicker setup and windows on both ends I might ad. The option for the room lies in our Eezi-Awn Series 2000 awning and Rec Vee Panel setup. Watch this video to see what I'm talking about: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25SXujlW9j0"]YouTube - Eezi-Awn Rec Vee Awning Panels[/ame]

I found on our 6 week trip to Baja this winter that setting up the Rec Vee Panels on our 2.5 meter awning gave me a much larger room with no ladder in the middle of it. We took showers and cooked in it most of the time. The room is a nice place to get out of the wind and or rain and have some privacy at the same time. So now I'm carrying my Eezi-Awn Rec Vee Panels with me everywhere and using the Series 3 1600 with great success.

Hope this helps!

How is the series 3 in inclement weather? I see the overhang as the best option for torrential rain and what not. Wouldn't it be more for the series 3 1600 with awning and the enclosure than a 1600 t-top? Thanks again for helping.

Not sure I understand your question? the 1600 T-Top is great in inclement weather with the room attached. It can be a little tight with 2-3 people and a dog and a table. The awning with the Rec Vee panel room is much larger and can easily accommodate 4-5 people and 2 dogs plus a table. That is using a 2.5 meter awning like most of have.

What I meant is the t-top is great because if rain is coming sideways and what not you are fine getting in and out, the series 3 has the rain fly partly covering the door but how it in such weather? At least with the overhang you can take off your boots before getting in to the tent and don't have to have the add-on room deployed right? I'm very new with rtt so I'm just guessing from no experience. I just don't want to get the inside wet when trying to get in.
