WTB Expedition vehicle 1975 or older- Bronco, Blazer, Jeep, Toyota CCUV

I am looking to buy one the of the following I would like it to be have decent street manners so I can take off with it straight to the trails yet have some good offroad modifcations done to it

Budget is around $10k I Could stretch it out to $15k

CUCV with the 6.2 diesel is a good setup and size for trails, all mechanical injection and can achieve 20-22 mpg, hard to find though in good condition.

I would stretch that search year for the Bronco to 1977... same body style but some packages (explorer and ranger) came with auto trans and a/c... plus late 72-77 include the Dana 44 over the Dana 30....

I would like to stretch it out to 1977 but 1975 and older are smog exempt I prefer not to deal with the hassle of it
