WTB : VW Syncro Tintop/Westy/Weekender - alas I missed the Silver one Mike sold last August

Howdy folks,

Unfortunately I was buying a house when I saw Mike's beautiful Syncro 1.8T on here and for a great price of $60k get sold

So I'm looking around to see if there are any similar Syncros for sale? I know the white (adventure wagen top) just sold but that wouldn't fit in my garage . Would prefer a turn key (already re-done, paint, engine etc.) similar to Mike's.

I have a Doka Syncro with locking rear transaxle . 2.1 WBX .In the reassembly stage of a major rebuild . Truck sat for a long time so everything needed a go over .I am in Ontario Canada ,truck came from New Brunswick . VW never sold these trucks in the US. I will sell in current state or when complete. Thanks

Hello ttigg, as part of my midlife crisis now that our last kid is off to college..., I just purchased two Syncros to start restoring and building out as expedition vehicles. But, my wife also just found her dream 1966 21 window bus that I now need to get restored for her to use as a daily driver. So a bit overwhelmed and thinking of selling one of the Syncros we just purchased. It's an incredible almost all original 1986 Westy Syncro. Just about to put some 27" General Grabbers and clean her up a bit. PM me if interested. Happy to sell at cost now or I'll list soon once we put new carpet down, wheels, etc. Hard to find any Vanagon in this garaged condition and even harder to find a Syncro that hasn't been used and abused.
