A set of TWO (2) 20L/5Gal. Scepter MFC (military fuel cans) NSN # 7240-01-337-5269.

SCEPTER MFC

They are new, as in, never fueled. They may show some small scratches or scuffing due to shipping. This sale includes 2 fuel cans with caps.

The cans are FIELD DRAB in color with the same colored Cap Retention Strap, these cans are fully U.S.D.O.T. compliant.
As you may already know, these are no longer available for civilian sales (EPA lock down).

Why, as a matter of fact, yes I have.
Here are two that just sold for $344.00 and shipping was $45.00 on top of it.

Since 2008 the EPA has banned sales of non-carb fuel cans to civilians, you can no longer purchase them from suppliers. I feel my price is more than fair given the auction links provided above.

Your price examples from "ebay" are ridiculous and exactly why I directed you there in my first response. I respect this community and have done enough research to know that you can source '08 cans state side for considerably less then your asking price. The fact that you "feel" like you have a fair asking price is bias and circumstantial. This is a knowledgable community where members consider each other and recognize a good deal when they see it, you sir should take the intial suggestion and peddle your goods elsewhere or lower your price.

Yes the two red Scepters you provided a link to sold for an incredible amount. But, you have to consider how many red Scepters are ever on the market, given that Scepter stopped making that color can when they stopped selling to the (U.S.) consumer market? You almost never see red Scepters for sale, let alone brand new ones.

As for the O.D. ones being sold on eBay, that's a Buy It Now price, and to the best of my knowledge they've been there a few weeks now and haven't sold.

More power to you if you can sell at that price, but I do think you'll be sitting on that stack for quite some time.

Unless you're a professional appraiser (is there such a thing?), let a person sell his wares without your "input", unless asked for...

Lighten up Sparky. If you really actually read my post, I started off commenting on the original poster's rationalization of his asking price and not the price itself, and I ended by stating "More power to you if you can sell at that price..."

It's all about supply and demand.
