Yup they sure do. I work for a radio corporation here in wv and we had a booth at our annual hunting and fishing show this weekend. Hatfield and McCoy had a booth there and I sat there and chatted with the guy running it for a while. On a side note they had a raffle for a free year permit, fingers X'd I win. None the less its only $28 a year for a permit and that gives you access to all trails. For vehicles also? I always knew about the atv trails, but that's cool if there are now vehicle trails. It's a nice area.
Awesome. Thanks for the info. I heard about this trail last year from a coworker and wanted to go, but had completely forgotten about it till this thread appeared.I was just checking out the Hf/Mc website and they have a campground and some cabins. Also I found this place on google. http://www.bigearlscampground.com/
Not sure how nice it is but its close the ivy branch trail.
Also here is a site that has all kinds of places.
