Yakima lock core numbers?

These cores are 4 or 5 years old and they don't have the number stamped on them like my really old Yakima locks. Of course Yakima is closed, I need to find out by tomorrow and I have absolutely no idea where the keys are since my truck got totaled 3 and a half years ago. Any ideas?

New Yakima cores are stamped on the inside of the core. You need to have it out of the rack to see it. Are your racks locked? If not you can use the master core removal key to pull them out. If their locked, I guess a trip to the locksmithy.

I took it down to a little shop called Rack Solid here by house and the kid got it with the first key he tried.

Lucky dog. Now write down the number and order up the new key. Whenever I run into the situation (Yak rep in NewEngland) it's always the last key I try.

Yakima (and thule) cores are quite easy to pick, I used a modified allen key and a thick bent paper clip to pick mine when I lost the key.

I've also had success with rekeying the cores to match an existing set by rearranging the pins (rather than buying a new matching set).
