Zombie shooting........?????

How come everyone, well not everyone.... but it seems that a lot of folks are building rifles, shotguns, etc. with all this stuff hanging off them in case of ZOMBIE encounters...... do people actually think that some vast army of undead are a threat????? You might be better served by being armed for those who are very much alive who wish to do you and yours harm. I guess I am to old to buy into the zombie thing, it's not the dead I would worry about, never heard about a "dead" or "undead" person hurting anyone, ( what is a "undead" person anyway?) Could it be the younger generation wanting to be, what is called....... "tactacool"?, (not sure of the spelling or the meaning of this) Anyway just a thought tho. Anyone want to shed some light on this? :sombrero: mjmcdowell (move or delete this post as you see fit moderators)

That is, in fact, the definition of the word as used today by "preppers"... the whole undead thing is just a fun way to avoid tipping of the neighbors... ;)

I prepare for zombies.

Well I had started to, I have since depleted my stores in anticipation for a move. Zombies are just a euphemism. In reality you are preparing for any and all possible scenarios. Be it job loss, natural disaster, violent uprising, death in the family, zombies, whatever you deem the most viable threats that could happen.

Nothing wrong with having a little food and water set aside..... And who couldn't use a stockpile of 15000 rounds of ammo?

Well, I had just remembered the naked zombie in Miami recently who began eating a homeless mans face and would not respond to orders to stop eating the guys face so he was killed by MPD it was assumed the zombie was under the influence of some drugs but that was never proven, so, maybe there are real zombies, or? :ylsmoke:

Oh, and on another note in Florida and many other states if you are homeless you are classified as a vagrant and statute/laws are in place to prevent homeless/vagrant individuals from possessing firearms, yep, it's the land of the free alright.

To me the zombie apocalypse is just the term I use when I see some drugged out dude on sherm, wet, spice, bath salts, heroin, meth or whatever is trendy nowadays. Working in Law enforcement, I've seen my fair share of "zombies" and they are real..
