Have you ever thought of letting someone just pickup your existing car loan from USAA? Example; I am not presently a member of USAA but am a disabled vet (Viet Nam Hospital Corpsman 68-69). So think I should be easily eligible to pick up the loan. I'm in Spokane, WA now, but will be visiting family in Richmond, Va starting the 16th of June.

Just an idea.

No, I have not, and didn't know that was an option. That would be convenient. I am showing the truck on Sunday and waiting for another gentleman who came to see it to make a decision. I should still be in the area on the 16th, but I need to start the move toward Texas to have the vehicle in storage by the 18th if it doesn't sell.

Give the USAA a call and ask them if it would work. I probably would not buy it myself because SWMBO is pointing her finger toward a Springer van instead. But a loan transfer would save everyone a lot of paperwork.

GLWS and bon voyage!

Hey BellPilot, If you still have them, I'd love to see photos of the Turtle you were considering. I'd also love to know why you passed on it.

send me a text and I will send them to you. The rig did not have much exterior storage, needed a single wheel conversion and the ad pictures are deceiving. The ones they continually post are when it was new. That alone made me nervous. My cell :541-633-0033

Also the fresh water tank is in a side compartment not heated so will need a heating pad which uses power as well as the garage storage is not heated. Single fuel tank.

Sorry on the delay getting back to you!
With the slow start AC can you use household shore power 15Amp and run the AC. example: quick stop passing through town and roughing it at a driveway overnight?
