Recovery points on 04 disco ii

Are you dead set on keeping the front bumper as is without trimming?

I am open to trimming it to a certain extent. I am looking at winch options right now that fit the dap carrier. I guess I like the stock look and don't want it to look to 'upgraded' if that makes any sense.

Any specific winch recomendation that have front/ easy lever access clutch options. I know some can be clocked, but if I can find an easy to move clutch that would be even better.

D2 discreet winch mount keeping the entire factory front bumper from Urban Panzer's webpage. This install uses a different winch mount tray, and do not think it gives you any recovery points, so not sure if you would have to trim the bumper for the DAP mount or not.

From talking to a few people the 03-04 inside of the bumper needs a little trimming. But nothing too crazy. I was offered a very good deal on a used winch, but I passed and looking at lower profile options with synthetic line to save weight and make it easier to access to access the clutch.

But like you said there is not a great place to add recovery points.
