Hmmm. That's a good idea. I can always hook up a battery voltage meter aftermarket somewhere. It's not that big of a deal.

Next question then, how in the bloody sam hill hell do I get that pod off to yank the inclinometer and my batt voltage gauge out?

There are some little plastic caps that cover two Phillips head screws. I think they are on each side ( sorry, don't have my truck to look at right now). Just pop off the covers and remove the screws and it will lift right out.

D'OH! But of course ... it's stupid easy. Go figure. Welp ... look for that install/project coming soon. I might just grab me a set of seats next time I'm at the junkyard, too. My front ones are coming apart. The leather has finally given after 15-16 years of fatty's sitting in it. Until then, seat covers.

You have downloaded the gen II Factory Service Manual from mitsubishi links dot com right? It shows how to access pretty much anything in your rig.:ylsmoke:

FWIW, it hasn't been mentioned all that often so you may not have known. It is in the Mitsu FAQ thread on 4x4 wire dot com's Mitsu tech forum. That site is hosted by a very generous (for doing it) Mitsu owner.

Not really here
Just so you know off-roader; you are very appreciated on this site and on the wire. I am sure that I speak for the crowd when I say that.

No worries. Just sharing a passion. I think anyone in my situation does.

Also FWIW, I don't want there to be any confusion... That site isn't mine It belongs to one of the guys on the 4x4 wire forum.:ylsmoke:

Thanks for that although I'll be the first to admit you all give me too much credit. My knowledge on these rigs is IMHO... 'limited'. I can name quite a few who I almost always turn to for info on them.:Wow1: They're the real 'experts' on these rigs.:ylsmoke:

JACKPOT!

Here's an update. My buddy just bought himself a MIG welder. Begin the madness! Looks like we're about to learn how to custom make everything we want for the trucks.
