I love the front bumper modification, but I'm not sure it would look good with my maroon :/

Just a few from this last week and yesterday. 89 2.6 with a weber and 33s
carnage for the day was relatively minor, just a seized P/S pump; cut the belt and go
We finished the day at Nye beach in Newport Oregon for some delicious seafood.

I finally got my tires on and my shocks put in. I did it on pictured dirt and in 115 heat. Not fun. It was like rolling a churro in sugar and cinnamon. With the sweat and all. Want be doing that again. Definitely going to copy the bumper idea from above. Did you treat it with anything? Looks awesome. Ordered transfer case seals from Mitsubishi. Hopefully they come in by Monday so I can get back on the road

Nice 1st Gen, Looks great. I really like the White ones, look very NATOish. What size tires/wheels do you have on it? What shocks did you install? Can you get a couple better pics of them?
I assume you are referring to my bumper? I just took off the rubber bump stops, removed the plastic end caps, then used a grinder to remove the end cap supports, then just rattle canned it Flat Black, right over the Chrome, LOL! I have to respray once in awhile, but spray paint is cheap and easy to reapply. I will eventually Rhino Line them as a longer term solution. I am going to also remove the end caps from the rear bumper at some point. I went with the kyb gas adjust. Spent about 140$ installed in about 6 hours because I painted my wheels semi gloss black. Also put on new black lugs. Rear shocks were super easy. Front were a little tricky but looking back still easy. I don't have a good workspace however.
I put kenda klevers which cost me 520$ shipped to my door via eBay.
Size 31x10.5xr15. Had walmart install them due to time issues for 30$ total. When I bought it , she had 3 different tires and one flat/ blown wheel.
So I needed tires bad.

One note. My shocks were so bad I could barely drive it. A bump would feel like the truck was going to break in half. Now it feels as tight as my wife's Acura. Not overly tight but like a newer car. Really smooth. The tires helped a ton also. My buddy has a set of rear springs from a 97 I believe which should fit and lift the rear a bit, but more important be stiffer so it will accept a load of gear in the back. And I will crank the torsion up front by a full turn to match it. Probably doing this really soon. After the transfer case seals. I would like to get the rear trailing arms and rear locking dif from a 95 and do it all at the same time. I guess the entire rear assembly mounts right up including the rear disc brakes! To my understanding you can get this in its entirety for about 200$ at a pull aprt. Once all of the above is done I will probably leave it alone except for little things like scrapers and bumpers and stuff. I will pick up that same roof rack once I get some more money. Did it come with the gutter mounts?

I had to order the gutter mounts separately. $300 total shipped, including the gutter mounts and rack off Amazon. It is a pretty light duty rack, but for now it fits my needs. Just enough for light camping stuff, a cooler and folding chairs, stuff like that.
That is the size tires I have been thinking about, either those or 33's. I like skinnier tires and I am looking at my options, my current tires have quite a bit life in them, and I'm not planning any serious offroad action in the near future, so I have time, but I would love to see some clearer pics of yours, With the Black rims it is kind of tough to see any detail in that one picture.

Being new to 4x4 and off road. I wasn't sure how much a 32 or 33 would effect this slow *** truck already. So I decided to play it safe.
I like the way 33s look or even 35s but I honestly don't think ill ever have real use of such a large wheel. I think this is more practical for my needs.

this is my Pajero '89 285 tkm on dial with 2,5 TD with aftermarket-intercooler, bleed valve in turbo wastegate, risen fuel feed, also under pressure, 3" stainless exhaust and rock guards.
Body lifted 2" and also I have placed steel sheets on the back quarter windows.
Running now on Malatesta Kaiman 31" with 8x15" ET-22.
