Dodge Cummins NV4500 to G56 - DONE!

Hows the g56a going after running it for over a year?
And also of the top of you head can you remember what the measurement from the bellhousing to where the. Shifter comes out is. Looking at using a 6.7 and g56a for a conversion.

first thanks for the write up! my nv4500 needs rebuilt and I am considering bumping up to the g56 if I can find one at a decent price. you mentioned a nv4500 adapter? I don't under stand, does the g56 bolt right to the 12v cummins? using the stock starter? my truck is a 4x4, so I am assuming i'll have to redo the front and rear driveshafts. but good to know that the rest of it looks "easy"

on one more question, why did you use a nv5600 clutch plate? why not use one for a g56? or are they the same?
