Like Lance, I'm happy to see AEV branching out to other markets besides the JK. I hope the Ram market proves to be as fruitful for them as the JK market. I don't know the demographics of Ram owners well enough to know whether there's a rabid following like the JK community that will invest in these upgrades - I'm hoping there is. At the very least, I'm guessing their suspension upgrades will be quite popular.

Those of us with Power Wagons are quite rabid...
We buy the trucks thinking they are already perfect, but find the weak links very quickly. So we do spend a lot of $$$ on upgrades - it's every bit as bad as the Jeep Mod bug.
But, it's such a small segment of the market. Our Power Wagon Registry website and forum that's solely dedicated to the big trucks has about 400 members.
In past years the production numbers of Power Wagons has been low for consumer sales, usually about 10,000 units annually. The Gov bought a lot of PW for the Forest Service and Border Patrol tho, and that's what has kept them available. They have been pushing the 4th Gen trucks a bit harder, so we'll hope that keeps the Power Wagon alive and well. Us 3rd Gen guys hope AEV will give us some goodies too, but it's not likely. I'll be very interested in the suspension when it comes out - it should be a straight swap into a 3rd Gen. One of the weakest links on the Dodge are the front control arms, and AEV needs to look at those as an opportunity to not only increase strength, but add the all important 0.500 in extra length to move the front tires forward with the additional lift.
The diesel market is vastly different tho, and perhaps there will be some carryover into that segment. Most of the oil burners here locally are used for construction or ranch work, and while I see a lot of'm used by hunters, they are usually towing a toy hauler w/ ATV/UTV's for accessing the back country. Honestly, the oil burners need the fat tires more than the PW's do - they tend to sink pretty quickly...
