throwing this out there..
My current grill is a weber Q that i carry with me camping (Land rover Defender 90) its great but lets say.... big and bulky especially in the back of a D90.. and not what i really want.
I'm thinking of going a totally different direction and all charcoal and dual purpose...
i was thinking that a Snow peak Pack and carry fireplace with a coal bed and upper grill (and a griddle) could serve both as my grill and a camp fire for those places that don't have a fire pit.
anyone use one regularly? like this?
My goal here is a dual use item that packs up small.
It looks pretty good in theory but i would like some real world experience
is it a complete mess, made well, work well, and not a total Pita?
thanks
