Any Jeep Patriot owners?

The problem with the stu's coils, is you only get 1" of lift on the newer pats, you don't get any alignment parts as you do with the RRO, and its 3 times the price for just 4 coils. My RRO kit went on no issues, had it aligned without issue, and never had any problems with the quality of product. Yes, the stus will take trailering better, but will be jarring hard all other times while driving.

I have experienced both, and I would keep the fdII springs, if you don't have them, get them. and use the RRO kit.

One inch of lift would be an outstanding byproduct for a more rigid suspension in my application - as I explained, I need a stiffer suspension due to load carrying and trailer pulling applications.

RRO lift kit shipped: US$433.69;

CRDSTU coils (4) shipped: after conversion, US$444.71.

That would be a difference of $11.02 by my calculation.

Stu's coils include front camber adjustment bolts, however, installation of these coils do not require the many suspension alteration parts that the RRO spacer kit does (e.g., rear upper control arms and swaybar extensions), at least from what I understand.

I have read many reviews of Patriot owners utilizing Stu's coils to great satisfaction - I have yet to read one that complained of anything that included a "jarring hard" ride quality. Comparatively, I have read far too many reviews of Patriot owners utilizing the RRO lift to great dissatisfaction. This is not to suggest that there are many owners that are happy with the RRO, just that I have read far more complaints about the RRO than I have ever read about the CRDSTUs and this in Jeep Patriot suspension forums that would entertain pros and cons for both, as these are really the only two options for lifting the Patriot.

For my purposes, heavy loads and some trailering, the logical choice seems to be the CRDSTU modification. My survey continues however, at least until Spring when I will most likely go with the springs.

If that is the price of stu s coils now then they have come down alot since I had my pat. But the rro lift cost seems a little high.

Went to both sites just before I posted and proceeded through both checkouts to just before payment. Indeed, this is all expensive and the primary reason why I'm going to wait a while before proceeding. Then there's the installation cost and the all-important conversation I will have with my dealer regarding warranty impact...

I don't think you will screw up any warranty. I know that at my dealership no warranty is messed up with use of aftermarket gear.
