My first Land Cruiser:1968

A friend just sent me this photo he took almost 48 years ago of me in my then-new 1968 rig. Ah, good memories.
This is an area that is now known as Thousand Oaks, CA. All streets, neighbors and generally paved over.
What I would give to have had the sense to keep the 'Cruiser.

here's a few recent pics of my Cruiser from a 7 week holiday i just had, going down South to Tasmania here in Australia.

MY 105 SERIES AND A MATES 100 SERIES ON OCEAN BEACH AT THE MOUTH OF THE HENTY RIVER (Ocean Beach is the longest beach in Tasmania)

It would be even more awesome if T.O. Still looked like that! Great shot.

^^^^^^That is such a nice build.

While some don't consider the FJ to be a member of the Cruiser family, I think it does the name proud. It would have been nice if they put a straight axle in it though. Still, it wheels nice and gets the family, dogs and gear anywhere I want to go.
