Yeah, forgot about that part... Lucky J nailed it.... We had customers come in regularly with this issue in the winter. Salt gets on your exhaust and when it melts off it looks yellowish like coolant. Thats probably all it was. I cant believe I didnt think of that until he mentioned it. It probably wasnt coolant, though I have seen plastic end tanks contract enough to weep, so maybe just keep an eye on that.

+4 on water on exhaust. We have customers come in all the time in winter with same coolant leak complaint. When they have dexcool or toyota etc coolants that arent green. It happens in summer too when we degrease engines, drips off exhaust and turns green. End of thread jack, just what i needed to read in snow starved mn. Great report!

Thanks for the comments, you guys. After a little fidgeting, I found I had lost a little coolant and that one of my radiator hose clamps was SLIGHTLY loose. I tightened it and am hoping that I've taken care of the issue. We're supposed to get a low of 7 degrees tomorrow night, so that will be a great opportunity to give the fix a try!

Great write up, you're Wagoneer is top notch that's for sure. If you're in a large enough town to have a heavy truck repair shop, go get some constant tension clamps and you won't have that problem. If you can't find them let me know and I'll hook you up.
