I had the Toytec ultimate coilovers on my fjc and really liked them.
We shall see, that is something I'm concerned with. I coated them with Fluid Film but the bodies are steel still.High end coilovers definitely ride better. I feel like the Bilstein/ome route is a good budget alternative. Bilstein 5100 ride good as long as you don't put a bunch of preload on them to achieve lift. This also applies to Icon, King , and Fox.
I haven't had higher end coilover in 10 years. Do they hold up to the elements any better? My last set looked horrible their first snow storm.
I think you need that as a bumper sticker on your truck. lol
More like spend money like a drunken dirt bag.
My truck rides like a cadillac.
So it wallows like a cork in rough seas and blows through corners?![]()

Blows through corners, no. Wallows around? Yes while traveling 70mph across whooped sections.
I know you were joking lol. But its actually an accurate description of driving a truck with lots of travel and shocks valved for whoops, on the street.I was joking...hence the smilies...:ylsmoke:
(old) Cadillacs handle like poo. My dad had couple 60's 70's caddys..it was like riding in boat with no rudder.![]()

Soooo...never could understand that ol saying of "Rides like a Cadillac" Probably one of the worse handling vehicles that was ever produced.
I know you were joking lol.
