Too bad these aren't built for full size, short bed domestic trucks.

Way cool. Get it!I snagged a one owner low mile (74K) 1st gen Tacoma, 100% Stock. Going to concentrate on my fathers build for now.

Yeah the sides do zip completely open so that could be an option if one wanted. When you fold the top down it's best to slide the bed to the rear of the camper, this isn't a must but with the rear section of the bed slid back it supports the top material and keeps it from hanging down into the interior. I'll have to weight this camper soon to see a total weight, it should be about
Would it be possible to keep the sleeping platfrom extended and add a 3” memeory foam mattress to the existing mattress? Can you leave sleeping bags laid out? Pillows? Glad your in another build
