Are you kidding me? Up to $7000 off MSRP on Wrangler Unlimiteds!

Having owned a cj7 golden eagle. Driven tj extensively. And owned a modified jku rubicon. My jl is more comfortable and capable by a long shot. Slapped. 35 o in no lift. Winch using the steel bumper package. And. Ready to go. Anywhere

I like the simplicity of the YJ's but their axles are made out of wood. TJ's and JK's don't have enough legroom. TJ grill and hood fits the YJ, last time I checked. And all of those parts will be due for replacement by now anyways......

So no, was a legit, ''are the new ones better?'' Seems the new ones need some armor added underneath, and some still have cheesey axles.
you ride a Duck 1199S and the jk does not have enough leg room?

The JK was cramped for sure in every way. I found my YJ roomy enough. But it had no center console, no dash board, no back seat at all.

The 1199 is never more than a 1 hour ride. It's not really that bad. Previous Ducati's were way worse. My wrists and hands are what suffer on that bike at any speed under 65.

I'd rather have a late CJ than a non fuel injected YJ or a late TJ than a non pentastar JK. Otherwise they keep getting better. I've owned all but a JK, skipped that generation as it never had what I wanted until the JL came out. I'd argue now it's JT>JL>JK>TJ>YJ>CJ, though.

Hey now, what's wrong with the Pentastar.....oh, nevermind.... I forgot that I spent $5K last year to have the awesome Pentastar repaired in my 2015 Dodge Caravan with 110K kilometers on it (and just out of warranty of course) after it decided to shite itself. I had a TJ about 15 years ago and really like it. Simple to operate, simple to repair, nothing much ever went wrong with it.

If you don't like the pentastar, you'd really hate the old pushrod 3.8 the JK's got. It was even less reliable than the pentastar and had about 85hp less to boot. It was a downgrade from the 4.0 in the TJ, which is one of the reasons I didn't look at the JK at all until they finally put the pentastar in it.

I bought my 2018 JL for $7500 off in June. Tracy Jeep, Elk Grove had some good deals too just not the budget combo I was looking for.

I have buddy who bought a 4 year old, brand new Audi A6 TDI for $19K... off the dealer lot... full warranty.
No one wants the cheater TDI even if it is now legal.

That just goes to show you how much all the middle men as well as the factory are making off of the newest car sales :)
Especially light trucks. Here in San Diego everybody and their mother are financing incredibly expensive trucks for grocery getting. They didn't learn anything from the recession.

In 2008 Dodge was offering the Cummins pickups at up to $29K off retail.

Today, in Alberta, they are advertising Ram 1500s with a $16K discount.
