I thought I explained this to you already..

No smaller than 33's with the 4.56s and non turbo.

Besides, I have a set of 33s and a set of 31s mounted up on extra wheels for you to try out before you go and buy some for yourself...Hypothetically, of course.:sombrero:

Someone say LC60 wheels they have?? :safari-rig:

15" factory chromies. I have 5 or 7, I can't remember for sure. It's like a mini Discount tire over at my house. Winter tires/wheels, Summer tires/ wheels, Oz split rims/tires, Mud tires/wheels.

Though unlike discount you may have to dig them out of the snow...so when is the lift going on the 60?

Here are some numbers taken from a post on Mud that got them off of Specter Offroad.

Peak torque
2F = 210 ft.lbs. @ 1800 rpm
3B = 166 ft.lbs. @ 2200 rpm
2H = 177 ft.lbs. @ 2000 rpm
1HZ = 206 ft. lbs. @ 2200 rpm

Let's say, just theoretically for now, that I were to get something with the following:

3B 3.4L Toyota Diesel (non-turbo, 90hp@ 3500rpm)
H55 5 speed transmission (0.84 5th gear ratio)
Stock Transfer Case (1:1 high range)
4.56:1 axle gears

....Running 31" tires would net me about 2923rpm at 70mph, or;

33" tires would net me about 2746rpm at 70mph.

Both tires would be 10.5" wide.

Anyone know what might work better for this motor, with consideration given to mileage and efficiency?

33" no doubt, usually a Bj42 comes with 4.11 ratio, looks like you have 4.56.

But you will be very happy once you have a turbo installed.

I went through 4.11, 4.88 then back to 4.56 and now turbo. If i would do this again, go straight with a turbo and 4.11 and never look back. Unless you are building a trail rig with 35" and bigger tires.

In what kind of rig this will be installed?
