1994 FZJ80 Land Cruiser

1994 Toyota FZJ80 Land Cruiser

Factory Lockers

Approximately 139445 miles on the truck. (I say approximately because the truck is being driven daily). The truck features an Old Man Emu lift kit with J springs. It currently has Maxxis BigHorn MT's (255/85R16's).

Hannah Quality Sliders

ARB Front Bumper

Lightforce 240's activated by Factory OEM foglight switch (No non-OEM switches were used in this build. I wanted everything to look as if Toyota had installed them).

Yaesu 1802 2M radio

The engine was rebuilt approximately 11,000 miles ago. No expense was spared during the rebuild. A Multi Layered Steel (MLS) Cometic Head gasket was used along with ARP Racing Head Studs. The block was bored over 1.25 mm and custom pistons were used.

The Pesky Heater Hose has been replaced with silicone hose and Breeze Constant Torque Clamps. The firewall heater hoses have also been replaced with silicone hoses and Breeze CTC's.

Just about everything under the hood has been replaced with factory OEM Toyota parts. I have $9500.00 (That's just what I can find) in receipts of which $2678.00 are from American Toyota. These include, but are not limited to OEM 4 core radiator, oil pump, power steering lines (Both high pressure and low pressure) Transmission lines and much much more.

I have a few boxes of trail spares, as a lot of the items replaced were a “While you were there”, instead of a “Have to.”

All Mechanicals performed by well known professional Land Cruiser Mechanic

The truck has a 4x4Labs rear bumper with dual swing out tire carriers. These can be switched out with a quick call to Luke at 4x4Labs. Luke custom made the bumper to fit the Long Ranger 44 gallon aux. fuel tank.

I sourced a new factory OEM overhead aux tank gas gauge with the altimeter combination from Japan. This is hooked up to the rheastat and dims with the dash lights.

The factory OEM Aux fuel transfer switch was sourced from Australia and is also rheastat controlled. The aux switch is controlled by a George Scolaro CPU board. You push it once to start the fuel transfer and it shuts off when the aux tank is either empty or you push off when your main tank is full.

The dual filler neck features the rare restrictor plate needed for visual inspections (For the states that require it).

WagonGear rear tailgate storage door that makes great use of an otherwise wasted space.

Blue Seas 12 space fuse block located under the hood.

LED Interior dome lights by George Scolaro

I am including the following items that need to be installed;

A set of new 4.88 gears

Slee's windshield washer bottle relocation kit to be used with below

OEM dual battery tray with accessories

A spare set of OEM 02 sensors

a York air compressor with custom bracket, machined pulley and other small items needed for it.

The truck has recently been professionally Line-X'd by the local shop

The body is free of dents

dark tint all the way around

This is a turn key truck that is ready to go. The Supercharger is not included with the sale and has already been sold. The combo never worked like I thought it should. They are meant for 95-97 trucks that are OBD-II controlled.

There are many threads available for viewing on this truck. Winch and AT Drawers are not included.

I've got more than that in my Petunia, and though I love her, she's nowhere near this fit. That price is a steal.

I can't believe I'm the first to say what the #$@&????? I recall reading here that you tend to trade rigs a lot ( I am so that guy... just sold another project yesterday. It has only been done for about 3 months! ). Are you looking for the right color / right year or going with a totally different idea? I hear there is a nice TJ up for trade for a 80 on the LC pages...:sombrero:

Dang good price for a completely rebuilt rig. I'd snatch it up in a heart beat if i didn't already have ours. Sorry to see you selling, but good luck with the sale.

I really didn't think I'd be selling this one (Especially after the engine rebuild). I took my time and tried hard keeping the mods nice and well rounded, without anything too "Extreme." I tried to keep them subtle and factory. There are no toggle switches used in this build.

I'm not even sure it's for sale, I threw it up kind of hastily and have received a few calls from friends that make good sense. I have been asked about parting stuff out, and that's not an option. The new parts that are included will stay with the rig.

As far as trading goes, I'd be open to the right 7.3 Diesel Excursion (4x4 of course). I'm sorry, but I'm not looking to get back into the TJ platform, even though I really like them. I need four doors.

I appreciate it. I think it's priced pretty reasonable considering the rebuild. You can look at it one of two ways; I'm asking for what I have into it in just parts and mods. Not labor or the purchase price of the truck, or I'm asking for what I paid for the truck before I spent a dime on it.

Does'nt that have five doors? A truck with four doors limits you to four, correct? You better just move to colorado and start having some real fun and quit buying and selling all these sweet rigs.

I looked for a 7.3 for a long time and gave up and bought an F350 gas pot. I wish I was in a position to buy your 80. I have the go ahead from the finance department in theory, but we will hopefully be traveling for a year before we are ready to buy. Best of luck with your sale!

I'd move to your state in a second. If I could only bring my job and tenure with me... And yes it has five doors, your right.

I got your message the other day and will be keeping an eye out for it. It wasn't there as of today. They're kind of ridiculous aren't they?

Hit me up when your ready to buy. Chances are I'll still have it and the uninstalled items will be installed. Have a great trip.

I've posted some highlights of the build, so people don't have to search around;

First up is the OZ spec Overhead gauge pod. This was purchased from a Mud Vendor located in Japan. It is actually three different items with the OEM sender.

Secondly is the Long Ranger aux tank from OZ.

Sorry for the cr@ppy pic, but it's the Yaesu 2M radio

The Wideband meter and Pyrometer
100_1980.jpg

Breeze Constant Torque Clamps used throughout the build. On all the Silicone hoses and also used in the main lines for the aux. tank.
