ok, somebody give this a new home. Looks like I will end up in Boston in another couple of months and the trailer needs a new home.

My wife has decided that an off road trailer would be a good thing to tow behind our Dodge RAM CTD.

The Kimberly Kamper looks pretty awesome. Can anyone tell me if you have access to the items stored without opening the top? If so, how?

thanks

Assuming you are referring to the under-the-bed storage area: Access through the full width tailgate (without the top/tent open).

I had my KK out for another bashing in the Sierra this past weekend. It continues to please! With over 30-nights in mine since getting it this past January I am happy to report I am 100% pleased with its: Abilities, comfort, stability, protection from the elements while camping and more.

Yes, as Spresso stated, there is a full length tailgate in the back that allows access to that area and the storage area under it. You also have a VERY large storage box on the front of the trailer.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you also have a super neat stainless steel compartment box that is mounted between the front nose box and the body of the trailer designed to carry all the poles for the awning and extra room correct? That's a neat way to carry the poles!

That's the information I was looking for. Does anyone have any pictures of the tailgate? and slide out drawer open? I saw the slide out kitchen drawer, but wasn't aware of another opening.

This page on the KK site shows you a glimpse of the SS pull-out slide. I didn't opt for this option on mine as I think I am better served by maximizing the amount of cubic feet the slide assembly takes up.

Although the photo below doesn't show the KK tailgate in the open position you get the idea how large it is.

Gearguy,

I appreciate you sending me pics. I have being staring at them for an inordinate amount of time. I would REALLY REALLY like to make you an offer, but alas the timing is just really bad for me. I'm more bummed than you can imagine.

I truly hope you find a new home for our trailer. If by chance it is still yours after the wedding, I will be in touch. Good luck with the sale.
