Time to abandon my lame non-locking center diff. Does anyone have a suggestion for locating a locking center diff?
I know a great many things but nearly nothing about this subject.
Will this widget fit the bill?

On my 2003 I did a whole T/C with linkage cables from an 04
Got it from a dismanteler in AL with 9,000 miles for 585 shipped
By "high miles" you don't mean miles driven above 5,000 feet in elevation, huh? I'm trying to avoid headaches. Would a high mileage unit invite more anguish for me?I have a good working high miles DII unit for $150 plus shipping. Guaranteed to work. Maybe combine the best of both.
Even have a DI shifter linkage for $115 shipped.

Thanks, John
And there's the rub. I'm the Barny Fife of auto repair. I'll have to pay someone to do this switch-a-roo and it seems like a spendy proposition. That entails taking your Tcase apart and reassembling it with those parts.
