yep that would be mine. It can be imported in Canada but not in Quebec anymore - the province has put a "moratoire" on RHD vehicle.

Trust me when I say I am going to cry when I sell it...it is not an easy decision and I am not entirely sure I am doing the right thing....

step away..... hahaha

JFARSANG... how many vehicles do you need??? hahaha Now if you kindly turn to the HUBB postings, you'll see I'm in front of you in the line... But you can come up to Squamish and take a look at it any time if it actually makes it to Canada... from the looks of things, I'm guessing it will be sold on the other side of the ocean! When is your new Pajero here anyways?

I'm going up the food chain until I get a solid troopy (my dream overlanding rig) for our long-term trip with my significant other. :rally_guys:

If it works out, it works out. If not, either way, I'm sure it will go to a good home and hopefully continue it's overlanding adventures. :)

Offtopic :chef:

No Pajero. I got outbid. It looks like the Arabs are buying them in large quantities from the Japanese auctions. Not sure of the reasoning.

Thats too bad about the Pajero! I was just givin you a jab!
Nice being able to go see it, it looks sweet.. I have been all over the auz classifieds, and narrowly missed buying one in NZ when I was there a month back... such great vehicles!

25 years from the manufacture date. many 70's are coming of age now, but i don't know specifically when this body style was introduced.

price...i'm assuming that trucks of this quality will go for an extra premium to buyers in the states over the next few years, but that's pure speculation.

beautiful truck. makes me want to uproot everything...sell the house, quit the job, move to australia and live out of one like it. good luck with the sale!

How long till these rigs are available in the US and how much will they go for?

This one has been manufactured end of 1987/1988, so it is about 21 years old. Which means you would have to wait another 4 years before importing it in the US.

I believe the first HJ75 Troop Carrier came out in 1986 but they would be really hard to find.
