1985 Land Rover 110 for sale

I am located in Red Deer, Alberta.

I would be willing to drive this Rover anywhere in North America to deliver for a sale. The vehicle is currently registered as a 1985, the previous owner had it registered as a 1984. I could re-register it as any year than you prefer for the sale. This is because the VIN doesn't come up at the registry office. They asked me what year that I would like it registered as.

The body panels are not perfect. I was never concerend about it because when offroad it bumps into the odd tree or rock. Body panels aren't expensive for this rover. Installation can be done by anyone without having to pay a body shop. Mechanically this Rover is excellent. Frame is excellent. I drive it every day. Great fuel mileage.

Yes, it is a 2.5L Naturally Aspirated Diesel. I could register it for what ever year that you need me to if you decide to buy it.

I'd be careful, regardless what year it is registered at no doubt US Customs will run the VIN and see what year it really is. Then you'll have problems.

So I take you don't know anything as I haven't heard form you.

He's Canadian.

The truck is in Canada.

If you're an American, live in the US and would like to import it to the US, then figure out how you can do it.

It's not up to the seller to figure out import laws in other countries.

That weird that they just let you pick a manufacture date out of the air. Wonder how it made it past customs in the first place? On vehicles I've imported if you cannot prove the date of manufacture to customs it is either crush it or ship it back to where it came. Does it not have a chassis code of any kind that the true date of manufacture can be gleaned from?

I was simply asking if he had any suggestions, I wasn't asking for your 2 cents, but thanks for the constructive criticism.
