OK, got a few pics. This is our absolutely first stab at this and a very early prototype. Everybody I've spoken to has strong opinions about what "They'd" like to see. The final version will have the cutout for the door handle. The big bag on the bottom expands A Lot and was/is initially meant for holding a fishing rod (Think Fly Fishing) or a shotgun, albeit a short one.
Also thinking of adding a Red Cross to a bag and calling it the First Aid kit storage.
At the end of the day we could think it's perfect and everyone else thinks it's junk so feedbag only helps with the product development.
As it sits today:

Our initial thoughts on what to change. We're thinking instead of the seven smaller bags on top that we consolidate into just two bags and possibly put some dividers internally into the bags:

i like the internal divider idea.
however one thing that would keep me from buying one of these is when you have heavy stuff in the cargo area. if not tied down properly (we're talking day to day use, not just the way you pack for an overland trip), then whatever you have in the rear couple slide in ande break all the stuff in the bags. just something to think about with these type of storage systems.
looks good though.
Hey Larry, I'm kinda digging your RRC rear bumper. I like the stock-ish look of it. Clean![]()
Good points!
Here's another angle showing current bag depth.

That looks really slick, Larry - nice work. bigger bags and a divider sounds like a good improvement.
you know what would be really cool, too, is maybe some kind of small fold-down shelf that could incorporate the same material as used in those gripper cutting boards. You could reverse it depending on your need for plastic (smooth) or rubberized / grippy surface. The sides and bottom support could just be the same material that the rest of the thing is made out of, and be able to button into place in the vertical position.
cheers

You sir, are a mind reader. I'm putting together an idea that is very similar to what you mentioned. Brian McVickers put a bunch of thoughts into my head so I'm going to try and execute them and see how they turn out.
