Hannibal is back in the US

From another thread, it looks like Hannibal is back in the US. Not that I have a rack to mount a tent or awning, but figured everyone would want to know.

Cut and Paste for other thread on WTB section.

Hey all-

Just caught this thread. We're now distributing Hannibal stuff in North America. Our website is up, and we'll have a container of product here in a couple weeks. Here's a link to the website:

I am no expert on RTT's for sure, but the Nissan Patrol we had for our trip to Australia had a Hannibal RTT and it was amazing. 2 minutes to deploy and 2 minutes to put away. We loved it.

Hey

Maybe it was me, but I could get to the website but nothing would open, to view product lines or anything else.

I wish the Impi wasn't so tall when closed.
I really want a rear-entry hard shell...
Step into bed, climb into tent, no ladder needed. :victory:
But I can't get past the 12" tall and 154lbs that high up.
I've been within 3-4" of hitting my cab before...
Are the listed prices shipped?

Thanks!

lost, but making time
Hi Dan,
Great news.
Had a Hannibal roof rack on our Rover and loved it. Great construction and quiet.
We will be looking into a side awning, soon, and possibly a rear awning as well... I'll need to ask some questions about dimensions and attaching it, then.

Thanks.

Hey Nate-

Listed prices do not include shipping (although I lived in Eugene for 4 years, so you could probably talk me into delivering one to your front door!). Thinking about a Rogue trip this summer and running shuttle on the logging roads along the river.

If you don't mind me asking where are you located now?
How much decrease in mpg should I expect with one of these on the roof? %?
How about on a trailer (as opposed to the trailer not having one.)?
Could one of the tiny awnings be fitted to the back of it so the awning could be deployed when the tent is erect? :p
I know the awning is a bit wider, but if the tent's structure is up to it I think that would be killer!

Thanks!

The roof rack is really nice, but I just love their awnings. With the addition of the three zippered sides it is just about perfect. It is really nice not to be tripping over any guy wires or poles while in camp, plus it packs away really fast when it is time to go.

I remember Hannibal use to have a camp table that when not being used would mount between the roof of your truck and the Hannibal roof rack. They had a neat mounting system for it.

I really liked the Imp tent, then I realized the my Rover cost that much when I bought it!

help needed

Hi Chaps, I'm in the market for a rooftop tent for my Toyota Fortuner and have to make the decision between a traditional rooftop and the Hannibal type rooftop. I'm very keen on the Hannibal. Are there any problems with these tents? How are they in strong winds?
