Hannibal is back in the US

Hi Chaps, I'm in the market for a rooftop tent for my Toyota Fortuner and have to make the decision between a traditional rooftop and the Hannibal type rooftop. I'm very keen on the Hannibal. Are there any problems with these tents? How are they in strong winds?
From everything I've heard...
Much more stable in inclement weather.
Better protected from low branches and other "contact"
Quicker setup.
Less impact on MPG.

Personally I'd rather store something in a sealed box than a somewhat sealed bag (Especially an expensive RTT). ;)

If I go the RTT route It'll be a hardshell one.
The only downsides that I know of are interior space limitations (some models don't follow this "rule") and price.

I have a hanibal roof rack and the awning. We went fishing at the beach this past summer and we got whacked with a pretty intense storm. The awning stayed open and held up as if it was made of stone. Not a drip came in, the only bad part was that there was like 5-gallons of water left on top of the awning :).

I am saving my cents to pick up for a hanibal rtt.
I would not dare go with another brand.
