Very cool little camper. Look forward to hearing more feedback on these. Does anybody know what the current prices run, approximately?

I just picked up a new one - I think the MSRP is $5800. I got mine from a Subaru dealer in Pensacola and his starting price was $5299.

I added some extra items and with taxes, etc. I wrote the check for $6K.

I bought one from Gander Mountain in Ocala Fl for 1900.00 back in December. I got to use it once before I deployed and I loved it.

I am going to use the little hoops (I have two sets) you get to stop a four wheeler from driving off during loading to hold a set of load bars to carry my Kayaks (right now one set is being used to hold up my "slightly used" jon boat). I already added a tool chest to the tongue, and when I get home I am going to add about 4' to the tongue and add a mount for a 20lb propane tank and my small generator. I am thinking of using the cooler rack that hangs off the back to hold fuel and water cans.

I also just bought a Yamaha "big-wheel" 350 so I will try to make a mount to carry it on the back some how. I am also going to add brakes when I get done cutting and hacking on it. I am thinking of getting two Busdepot.com awnings for it as well, one for the back and one for the side.

Entry Level? It would suit my needs much better. Not as wide as the other, and still provides two full beds. I like this one a lot. I wonder if they would sell just the tent though and allow you to build the trailer to suit.

EDIT: It doesn't show on either of the company websites... I'd like to get some more info.

I guess I should have said"less expensive and not quite as over built"

You got a great deal. I called them when you posted your find originally, and they had already sold all they had. The manager told me they were not going to carry them anymore and were just trying to unload them. Talk about being in the right place at the right time ...

Let me know when you get back and maybe we can get together for a camping weekend.

Yeah, I lucked out on that one. I should be home sometime in December, so I am game anytime after that. I am thinking I need to hit Durhamtown to "relax" a bit...lol

Here she is :)

Here are the details

2005 Jumping Jack Trailer
Brakes
Spare Tire
Aluminum Loading Ramps
Half Bed (Makes one side a double bed)
Propane Mount
Awning
Lantern Post
Safety Bar
3 Water Racks with Jugs
Conversion Kitchen
Table Legs
Cooler Rack

I don't think i will carry a lot of these accessories as I don't do much long term camping and I like set ups that a quick.
I will probably leave at home the lantern post, safety bars, table legs, cooler rack, awning, propane mount.

I am considering taking my pelican 1660 and mounting it on the tongue.

I spent most of the night cleaning the JJ. I am washing all the cushion covers and will be replacing the carpet and travel bag. The bag is old and the zippers are starting to fail.

The original owner really fixed that up with the extras. I am putting a nose box on mine to hold the battery, inverter and charger. The new ones are a tiny bit different but the main functional parts are the same.

Just like you, I can't wait to get it out and work out what I want to have set up. Was yours as easy to set up as advertised?

Have a great time with it.

I spent the day trying to get hold of customer service at Jumping Jack (Lifetime products) with no luck. Just rang and rang and rang forever.

I replaced the carpet today. JJ want's $70 for a new carpet. I went to homedepot and got one for $17.

The Pelican Case on the tongue isn't going to work. It's too big. Will be looking on Craigslist for a tool box.

Let me know what you find out for a Tongue Box.

I also machined washed all the cusion covers and now it looks new.

I am going to try to sell some of the accessories i have laying around. I just don't have the space.

I found something really close to this at the local Lowes:

The one they had was $198, about 36" wide, 20" high and 24" deep. The one linked above looks bigger. They also have a couple other sizes.

Let me know what you are selling - I may want more. Once I take it out for a weekend spin I will have a better idea.
