FYRLYT - Pronounced - "Firelight", is now available at Sierra Expeditions. FYRLYT is a driving light of Australian design & manufacture released March 2011. A unique blend of superior design and manufacturing technique delivering a world class product like no other.

After many test and testing process of some of the prototype lights on both the Jeep Liberty KJ and 80 Series these lights have far surpassed our expectations and FYRLYT was more than welcome to our suggestions and input. Out came this light, which is far more than we have ever seen from a non-HID light, which we called the "HID KILLER."

As some of you know, this is the light I personally run on our 80 Series.

The 12v to 24v converter work well and has been flawless in both test vehicles.

Dang, the SE site's down... so, you can actually adjust the pattern from the back of the housing. That's pretty neat.

Correct. By having it pre-set you do not get "black holes" like other adjustable focus point lights.

Wil, I have it on good authority that someone I know is getting a set of these in the next day or two :sombrero:

I can't wait to test them, if they are as good as they look they will definitely find a home on my truck :ylsmoke:

Yep, play with them and let me know what you think. They should be there tomorrow as they went out yesterday.

$600....wow

$710 for the 24v with the power converter. Not too bad considering the price you would need to pay for equal performance in HID. Several sets have been shipped out, and it's just one of the things you need to see to believe, but well worth the hype IMO.

Hopefully some of the ones that got them will chime in here so feedback comes from other than just me.

We hooked up our 24 volt set last night. Wholy smokes these things are bright. There's a reason why they call them the "HID KILLERS" They damn near equal if not blow away the HID's i had previously and with no white or purple washout. They smoke the Lightforce 240's i had also. Im very happy and will post photos as soon as i get them uploaded. We'll also do a shootout between some HID's and the new FYRLYT's side by side.

Here's a quick look... after we installed my set last night. We'll have better photos later along with an HID smackdown comparison :D

Would like to see comparison shots of this lamp sitting next to a Rallye 4000, for size comparison. This thing looks DEEP.

Whoever does any testing report results or preferably pictures on the beam adjustability from narrow to wide pattern please. Once you get past the gee-whiz, retina searing brilliance of these lights, I think adaptability is an important feature of these FYRLYT's.

Wil since you are running these in conjunction with a rigid led bar, can you compare the LEDs vs. Firelyt? If you were to do one or the other, what direction would you go?
